Improv coaching in San Francisco

San Francisco's scene splits across two hubs a bridge apart — the city's alt-comedy and sketch-adjacent rooms, and Berkeley's teaching-focused stages across the bay. A lot of players train in one and perform in the other, hopping BART between a rehearsal and a show without much friction. That geography is also worth keeping in mind here: a coach or a theatre that looks "across the bay" on a map is often a completely normal weekly commute for someone already living the two-city version of this scene.
