Douglas Sarine

Douglas is an award-winning and lifelong creator who has taught and performed improvisation for over 25 years. He has appeared on shows such as Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Office, and Monk. He has created and/or acted in approximately 1 million improv shows, sketch shows and online videos. His improvised podcast Anthem of Life is fun to listen to. His old silliness as Ask A Ninja is fun to watch. His liveness onstage with the trio D.A.M. and other shows are fun to experience. My coaching style uses skill-specific exercises and guided scenework to develop and expand group play. I use a structured conversation for feedback that includes intent/impact, what were you thinking/feeling, and choices. I believe in using your full self, theatrical devices and that forms are there to serve players (not the other way around).
